Oklahoma weather has a reputation—and springtime earns every bit of it.
This vintage-inspired Oklahoma travel poster features a massive tornado sweeping across the plains toward a small rural homestead, paired with the tongue-in-cheek line, “Scarier Than Hell in the Springtime.” Bold shapes, dramatic scale, distressed texture, and an unexpected color palette give the piece the feel of a classic travel poster with a distinctly Oklahoma sense of humor.
A great piece for Oklahoma natives, storm watchers, weather enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates regional travel art with a little personality.
Love the colors! Love the phrase!
package was kind of crushed, it may have happened in the mail. Had to press the print with an iron to straighten it out
I seriously cannot say how much the picture on Etsy does not do this justice. In person this is SO Beautiful! The colors are outstanding, the image is so creative and clever. I was so excited when it arrived I FaceTimed a friend and even on FaceTime he’s like ok that pic on your phone does not do this justice it’s so cool! I can’t wait to frame it and hang it in my tornado/weather room!
Designed to showcase every illustration with exceptional detail, rich color, and a museum-quality finish.
